- A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea directs a northerly airstream over Victorian coastal waters as a low pressure system near Adelaide moves east. The low will weaken as it crosses Victoria today, with a ridge forecast to extend across Victoria and Bass Strait on Monday as a cold front approaches from the west. The front is forecast to cross Victorian coastal waters on Tuesday, with a weak ridge crossing Bass Strait on Wednesday as another front approaches from the west.
