A high pressure system in the Tasman Sea extends a ridge over most of the state. A low pressure trough will move across South Australia on Tuesday and early Wednesday then will slip to the south of Victoria during Wednesday. A weak high pressure ridge will move over the state on Thursday and Friday, as a series of cold fronts move across Tasmania.
