A cold front near Lakes Entrance at 1700hrs will clear eastern Bass Strait tonight as a strong high pressure system moves south of the Bight. The high will remain slow moving into the weekend as it directs a southwest to southerly airstream over Victorian coastal waters with a cold front forecast to cross Bass Strait and southern Victoria on Saturday morning.
