- A high pressure system currently over the southwest will drift eastwards into the Tasman Sea on Monday, continuing to extend a weak ridge over northeastern Victoria. A low pressure system will begin to develop in the Bight, extending a weak warm front into Bass Strait on Tuesday which will drift southwards on Wednesday. The low pressure system will continue to develop, drawing a cold front across the State on Thursday.
