- A high pressure system over NSW is directing a northwesterly airstream across Victoria as a cold front crosses waters south of the Bight. The front is forecast to enter western Victoria this afternoon, reaching central districts during the evening before crossing eastern Victoria tonight. A cold southwesterly airstream will follow on Monday as a high pressure system south of the Bight moves rapidly east, reaching western Bass Strait by Monday night. The high will be located over the Tasman Sea by Tuesday night and continue moving east into Wednesday as warm northeasterly winds develop over Victoria.
