Weather Situation

A weakening high pressure ridge will begin to clear in the east as series of troughs enter western Victoria. These troughs will move across the rest of the state on Thursday before a broad low pressure system develops across the north on Friday. This low is expected to be relatively slow moving, drifting into eastern Bass Strait by Saturday before clearing into the Tasman Sea on Sunday as weak high pressure ridge develops in the west.
