A weak ridge extends across the state before being cleared Tuesday as a cold front crosses southern parts of Victoria. A new high pressure system is expected to develop in the Bight on Tuesday, moving south of the state on Wednesday, then drifting into the Tasman Sea on Thursday where it will continue to extend a weak ridge over Victoria.
