Weather Situation

A trough over Victoria will continue to move eastwards overnight and clear to the east during Monday. A ridge of high pressure is expected to pass quickly over the state early Tuesday ahead of a strong low pressure system developing in the west. The low is forecast to move over Bass Strait on Wednesday with an associated front passing over the state. A new high pressure system is expected to move into the west later in the week.
