- A low pressure trough lies through northeastern Victoria this evening, persisting on Saturday until a strong ridge of high pressure pushes in from the west late on Saturday, with a south to southeasterly flow developing across the entire state by Sunday. The ridge lingers on Monday as the high centre moves east, out to the Tasman Sea by Tuesday. Another trough develops in the northwest by late Tuesday.
