Weather Situation
A ridge of high pressure will continue to persist over Victoria in the coming days. A weak trough is expected to clip the southwest and pass through Bass Strait on Wednesday, briefly interrupting the ridge before it re-establishes on Thursday. This ridge will slowly drift into the Tasman Sea but will still linger in the east when a weak front will clip the southwest coast on Saturday.
