- Weather Situation
- A high pressure system lies over the Tasman Sea and extends a broad ridge over eastern Bass Strait. A low pressure trough extends across the SA border into western Victoria and Bass Strait. The trough is expected to slowly move east over Victoria and Bass Strait during Saturday, entering from the west in the early morning and moving into eastern Coastal waters by the evening. The next cold front will cross Bass Strait during Sunday with a new high pressure ridge developing in its wake on Monday.
