Weather Situation

A cold front is approaching from the west as a high pressure system remains over the Tasman Sea. The front is forecast to enter western Bass Strait during the morning, reaching central waters around the middle of the day before crossing eastern Bass Strait at night. A strong high pressure system will move south of the Bight during Wednesday night and remain slow moving into the weekend as it directs a southwest to southerly airstream over Victorian coastal waters.
