Weather Situation

A strong high pressure system south of the Bight extends a ridge across the Victorian coastal waters. The high will remain slow moving into the weekend as it directs a cool southerly airstream over Bass Strait, with a cold front forecast to push up from the south over Bass Strait on Saturday morning then move off to the east by Sunday morning.
