- Weather Situation
- A high pressure system over southern NSW extends a ridge over eastern Bass Strait ahead of a cold front and associated low pressure system that will approach from the west today. Northerly winds will freshen ahead of the front which is expected to enter western Bass during the late afternoon. The front will then cross remaining coastal and local waters on Tuesday as the low crosses Tasmania. A high pressure system will move over South Australia later on Tuesday, extending a ridge over central Bass Strait on Wednesday. Winds will tend northwesterly on Thursday as the high moves over southeastern NSW.
