Weather Situation

A high pressure system lies over over the Tasman Sea and extends a broad ridge west over Victoria and Bass Strait. A weak cold front is expected to approach western Victoria late Tuesday and then cross southern Victoria and Bass Strait on Wednesday. A high pressure ridge near the Bight will extend a ridge over northern Victoria on Thursday.
