A high pressure system just west of Tasmania will move over the Tasman Sea overnight as a low pressure trough crosses the Bight. The trough is forecast to move slowly east on Tuesday, entering western Victoria on Wednesday night before slowly crossing the rest of Victoria on Thursday. The trough is expected to linger over eastern Victoria on Friday.
