Weather Situation
A ridge of high pressure lies over the south of Victoria, with a broad area of lower pressure lingering about the northeast. This pattern is expected to continue until the trough contracts northwards tomorrow and the ridge extends more broadly across the state. On Tuesday a new slow moving trough will enter from the south west and linger over Victoria followed by a cold front approaching the west late on Wednesday.
