Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea is directing a moderate to fresh east to northeasterly airstream across Victorian coastal waters. This pattern will continue across the weekend as the high moves slowly east, with a low pressure trough entering western Bass Strait late on Sunday. The trough is expected to move slowly across western and central waters on Monday before weakening over eastern Bass Strait on Tuesday. A high pressure system is forecast to move south of the Bight on Wednesday and extend a ridge over southern Victoria.
