- A low pressure trough lies through northeastern Victoria ahead of a strong ridge of high pressure pushing in from the west late today, with a south to southeasterly flow developing across the entire state by Sunday. The ridge lingers on Monday as the high centre moves east, out to the Tasman Sea by Tuesday. Another trough develops in the northwest by late Tuesday.
