- Weather Situation
- A ridge of high pressure directs a southerly flow over Victoria as a low pressure trough lies through the north, extending over eastern parts today and on Saturday. A strong high pressure system is then forecast to extend a ridge over the state from the west late Saturday, with a south to southeasterly flow developing across the entire state by Sunday. The ridge lingers on Monday as the high centre moves east through Bass Strait and another trough begins to develop in the north.
