- Weather Situation
- A high pressure ridge over the east will contract into the Tasman Sea as a cold front approaches the west today. This front is expected to enter the southwest late this morning, reaching central parts of the state in the late afternoon and clearing the east by early Wednesday morning. A ridge of high pressure will develop from the west in the wake of the cold front on Wednesday before the high pressure centre moves over Victoria on Thursday. On Friday the high pressure centre will move into the Tasman Sea with a new weak ridge developing in the west.
