Variable about 10 knots becoming southeasterly 10 to 15 knots in the early afternoon then tending easterly in the late evening. Winds reaching up to 20 knots inshore in the evening.

Around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres inshore during the afternoon.

1st Swell

Southwesterly 1.5 to 2 metres, increasing to 2 to 3 metres in the far west.

Weather Situation

A ridge of high pressure will persist over the state into the weekend as the high centre moves through Bass Strait. The high pressure will clear into the Tasman Sea early next week before a trough makes its way into the west of the state on Tuesday.
