- A high pressure system is centred over the Tasman Sea and will remain slow moving today. A northerly airstream will develop over Victoria today ahead of a trough which is expected to move over western and central districts in the afternoon and evening, extending through remaining districts on Wednesday. A ridge of high pressure will move into the west on Wednesday and persist to the south of Victoria on Thursday and Friday as a trough lingers to the north.
