- A weak ridge of high pressure extending over Victoria will be cleared on Wednesday as a cold front crosses over Victoria. This front is expected to develop a low pressure system off the east coast on Thursday which will move into the Tasman Sea on Friday. The high pressure ridge will begin to redevelop from the west on the weekend with the high pressure centre sitting well south of the Bight.
