Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of the Bight extends a ridge towards southern Victoria, while a trough lies over far eastern Bass Strait. The trough is expected to deepen during Tuesday and Wednesday as a low pressure system develops off the NSW coast. The trough is then forecast to move away from Victoria on Thursday as the high pressure system moves over Victoria.
