A low pressure system over western Victoria will then slowly move over the state towards eastern Bass Strait during this morning, while extending a trough over western and central Victoria during this afternoon and early evening. A ridge of high pressure will build over Victoria on Tuesday, ahead of a cold front to cross the state early on Wednesday. A high pressure system is expected to build over the Bight on Thursday and extend a ridge across Victoria.
