Weather Situation
A broad area of low pressure lies over the north of the state. This trough will linger over northern parts and extend over Gippsland in the new week. By early Thursday this trough will begin to develop into a low pressure system off the NSW coast. A southwesterly airstream will strengthen through Thursday as a result of this low and a high pressure system will be to the west of Tasmania.
