A large high pressure system will sit near-stationary over the Tasman Sea from today until Thursday, extending a dry and progressively warmer northerly flow over Victoria. A cold front will approach from the west on Friday, before sliding south, then another front will cross Victoria on Saturday as the high finally moves further east.
