- Weather Situation
- A trough currently over central Victoria will clear eastwards overnight with the associated low pressure moving into the Tasman Sea. A new weak trough will skim the south later on Friday before a ridge of high pressure develops over the state on Saturday. This ridge will persist over Victoria on the long weekend as the high pressure centre moves to the north and Sunday and then into the Tasman by Monday.
