- A strong high pressure system south of the Bight is directing a cold southwesterly airstream across Victoria. The high will move slowly east on Wednesday and extend a ridge across southern Victoria, with the high moving over western Victoria by Thursday night. Winds will tend warmer northwesterly on Friday and into Saturday as the high moves slowly over NSW.
