Weather Situation

A band of mid-level cloud extends across the State during Saturday, ahead of a cold front that will clip the south of the State Saturday evening. A strong high pressure system is building south of the Bight. This high will extend a ridge over Tasmania and along the east coast of NSW on Sunday, before moving into the Tasman Sea late Monday. A weak trough may move into the west of Victoria on Tuesday.
