A high pressure system will cross Victoria today before moving over the Tasman Sea on Monday as the next cold front approaches from the west. The front will weaken as it crosses Victoria and Bass Strait on Tuesday, with the next high pressure system forecast to move over NSW on Wednesday and extend a ridge south across eastern Bass Strait.
