Weather Situation

A ridge of high pressure will linger over Tasmania this evening before moving out to the Tasman Sea by late Monday. A northwesterly airstream will develop over the state on Tuesday as a low-pressure system and associated cold front approach from the west, with the front forecast to cross on Wednesday. A second, stronger cold front is then forecast to cross late Thursday.
