Weather Situation
A ridge of high pressure will persist over Tasmania today. A low pressure trough is expected to cross the state tomorrow then linger off the east coast on Sunday. On Monday a new ridge of high pressure will extend across from the northwest. The main high pressure centre will move eastwards on Tuesday but will continue to extend a ridge over Tasmania.
