A ridge of high pressure lies over Tasmania Tuesday. A cold front will move across the state from the west on Wednesday. A high pressure system moves into waters south of the Bight and extends a ridge over the Tasmania on Thursday. The high then moves into the Tasman Sea on Friday, directing a northerly stream over the state ahead of a cold front expected over the weekend.
