- A high pressure centre to the northeast of Tasmania is directing a northwesterly airstream over the state, that will shift more northerly this evening and during Sunday ahead of a cold front expected to cross on Monday. A low pressure centre will then move across the south of Tasmania late Monday and lie near the east coast early Tuesday, then is expected to move away over the Tasman Sea later Tuesday ahead of a ridge to cross on Wednesday.
