A weak trough embedded in a westerly flow will cross Tasmania late today. A cold front is then expected to approach the state from the west on Monday, crossing Tasmania overnight. A southwesterly flow will establish over Tasmania from Tuesday, as a high in the Bight extends a ridge over the state on Wednesday. Flow turning westerly into Thursday as the high moves to the north.
