A ridge of high pressure lies over Tasmania this evening, before moving over the Tasman Sea on Monday, where it is expected to linger until mid week. A low pressure system is forecast to develop in the Bight from Monday and slowly move east, expected to bring a series of fronts and troughs across Tasmania through the week.
