A cold front moves over Tasmania this early this morning, while a ridge of high pressure is expected to extend over Tasmania by this evening, with the high centre to move just to the north of the state tomorrow. The high is forecast to move east over the Tasman Sea during Thursday as a strong cold front builds south of the Bight, and moves over Tasmania on Friday.
