Weather Situation
A broad low pressure system near the west of Tasmania clears to the southeast into Sunday morning before a second, more intense, low pressure system is forecast to move across Bass Strait during Sunday and clear to the east Monday morning. A ridge of high pressure is expected to extend across the southern mainland, forecast to direct a westerly flow over Tasmania from Monday. Cold fronts embedded in the flow are expected to cross Tasmania late Monday and again Wednesday.
