- A northerly stream extends over Tasmania, strengthening during the day as a cold front builds to the south of the Bight. The cold front will cross Tasmania on Friday morning and bring a cold westerly stream that is expected to shift southwesterly during Saturday when a trough crosses the state. The southwesterly stream will slowly ease through Sunday as a high builds over the Bight.
