- A high pressure system build over the Bight during Sunday, maintaining a cold southwesterly stream over Tasmania during the day. The high is expected to move to the north of Tasmania later Monday, extending and ridge over the state as it passes. A cold front approaches from the west on Tuesday and is expected to cross later in the day, with another front approaching from the west later Wednesday. These systems will maintain cooler weather over the state early next week.
