Weather Situation

A low pressure system will pass close to the south of Tasmania during Sunday with an associated cold front to cross Sunday morning. A cool west to southwesterly airstream will follow the front and will persist into Monday. Later Monday, a large area of low pressure is expected to move over the Bight and approach Tasmania, extending a warm front over the state late Monday and early Tuesday. The low complex then moves over Tasmanian and remains in the vicinity throughout Wednesday before moving away to the east on Thursday.
