A cold front slowly approaches Tasmania from the west and will cross the state early Tuesday. A weaker trough will then cross late Tuesday with a cold southwesterly airstream to follow. The airstream will then tend more westerly during Thursday and Friday as a large high pressure centre establishes near the South Australian coast.
