A high pressure system over South Australia extends ridge over Tasmania. As the high pressure system moves east to be in the Tasman Sea, a northwesterly flow will strengthen over the state on Wednesday. A cold front which will cross Tasmania on Thursday, with a westerly flow developing and persisting on Friday.
