A westerly airstream continues over Tasmania as a high pressure system moves over NSW and into the Tasman Sea. A cold front crosses over Tasmania during today, and is quickly followed by another during Thursday. A weakening cold front, embedded in westerly winds, moves over the state on Friday, before another cold front associated with a low pressure system to the southwest of the state approaches and crosses on Saturday.
