Weather Situation

A high pressure centre to the west of the state moves slowly to be situated to the south on Sunday, shifting the flow easterly. A trough over Victoria during the weekend is forecast to extend south into Bass Strait on Sunday before the high centre is expected to move away to the southeast, shifting the flow northeasterly ahead of an approaching trough to the northwest of the state on Monday. The trough is expected to move over the state on Tuesday.
