A westerly flow persists. A weak cold front embedded in the flow approaches and crosses from the west late Friday and early Saturday. A ridge is expected to return over the weekend from a high centred well to the west of WA and persist on Sunday, maintaining a west to southwesterly flow. A trough and associated low approach the state late Sunday and move over the state on Monday.
