A westerly stream will develop over Tasmania this evening, with a ridge to build over the state later on Wednesday as a high moves over Victoria. A northwesterly airstream will develop during Thursday as the high moves over the northern Tasman Sea. Cold fronts are expected to cross Tasmania early Friday morning and during Friday evening, with another cold front to approach the state from the west late Saturday evening.
