A ridge of high pressure over the state will move eastwards over the Tasman Sea, as a cold front approaches and crosses from the west late Friday. A high pressure system is expected to quickly move over the state on Saturday morning. A stronger cold front is expected to move over Tasmania during Sunday afternoon followed by another high pressure system Monday afternoon.
