Weather Situation

A high pressure system centred over Bass Strait moves eastwards to lie over the northern Tasman Sea during today and Thursday, maintaining ridge dominated conditions over Tasmania. A trough is forecast to move over the state from the west during Friday ahead of a cold front to cross later. A secondary high pressure system is forecast to extend a ridge over Tasmania from the southwest during Saturday.
