Weather Situation

A high pressure system lies well to the east of Tasmania, with a cold front forecast to approach and cross the State today. A low pressure system will move south over Victoria on Tuesday morning and lie near the east and south of Tasmania by late Tuesday, with the low to move away to the east on Wednesday morning. A high pressure system over South Australia is expected to extend a ridge over Tasmania later Wednesday, with the high to move to the north of the state on Thursday and another cold front to approach the southwest late.
