Weather Situation

A high pressure system will move to the north of Tasmania and extend a ridge over the state overnight. The high will then move slowly eastwards on Sunday and lie over the northern Tasman Sea by Sunday evening, with a cold front to approach and cross the state on Monday morning. A low pressure system is expected to move over Victoria on Tuesday morning an out to the east of Tasmania by Tuesday evening, with a ridge of high pressure to build over the state during Wednesday.
