A slow moving high pressure system near New Zealand is directing a mild north to northeasterly airstream over Tasmania. A trough is expected to slowly move eastwards across Tasmania during today and Monday. A weak cold front is then forecast to approach the west during Monday, and cross over the state on Tuesday.
