Weather Situation

A high pressure centre to the northeast of Tasmania is directing a northerly airstream over Tasmania, ahead of a cold front expected to cross on Monday. A low pressure centre will then move across the south of Tasmania late Monday and lie near the east coast early Tuesday, then move away over the Tasman Sea later Tuesday. A ridge of high pressure is expected to cross Tasmania on Wednesday, with another cold front to cross the state on Thursday.
