Weather Situation
A strong westerly flow will gradually ease through Thursday evening and Friday before a low pressure system approaches from the west early Saturday. This low is expected to cross southern Tasmania on Saturday, bringing a series of troughs and a cold front over the state. A west to southwesterly airstream is expected to follow the low with a new weak cold front approaching the west coast late Sunday. This front is expected to cross the state on Monday before a ridge of high pressure develops from the west.
