A trough is crossing Tasmania, directing a northwesterly flow over the state. The trough will move to the east of the state early Thursday. A series of troughs and fronts embedded in a westerly flow are then expected to cross Tasmania over the coming days. A high pressure system to the north of Tasmania brings a northwesterly flow and more stable conditions on Sunday.
