Weather Situation
A trough lingers off the northeast coast during Thursday before its forecast to move eastwards on Friday, as a ridge of high pressure extends over Tasmania from the west. A cold front is expected to cross the state early Saturday, followed by another trough in the evening. A high pressure system will move to a position over waters south of the Bight on Sunday and will extend a ridge over Tasmania.
