Weather Situation

A vigorous low pressure system is approaching the northwest of Tasmania, extending a warm front over the north. The low complex is expected to move over Tasmania later today and Wednesday before tracking to the east on Thursday. A brief ridge of high pressure will cross the state on Friday, before a cold front approaches the west coast late.
