A low pressure trough to the east of Tasmania moves away into the Tasman Sea. A cold front will approach from the west on Monday directing the airstream northwesterly over Tasmania before crossing the state on Tuesday. A high pressure system is then forecast to move over Tasmania from the west on Wednesday. The airstream will tend northerly over Tasmania again as the high moves to the east on Thursday.
