A cold front approaches from the west crossing over the state today, leaving a westerly flow in its wake. Westerlies will persist for the remainder of the week, with another cold front embedded in the flow forecast to cross on Thursday. A stronger cold front and associated low pressure system are then expected to approach Tasmania from the west by late Friday.
